Snow arrives

The first weekend in February snow arrived in Leicestershire.

This was good fun for some ....

But not exactly ideal weather for building.

The first floor is on the stables (as demonstrated by my beautiful assistant).

First week of February

The work on the stables appears to be moving quickly now.

The first floor is taking shape.

Around the pool house the shuttering is going up to bring the wall up to its full height

And there is no longer any trace of the patio.
